We’ve thought about the young ones also and have a play area here with a trampoline, play-house with a slide, see-saw, swings and sandpits.
The surrounding district is ideal for walks, with marked trails in the mountains and elsewhere around the settlements. In wintertime, you can take to your skis on prepared cross-country trails just 1 km from the camping ground. You are also able to enjoy horse riding in the area.

you will a heated indoor swimming pool. In winter you can ski the slopes at the alpine facility at Stordal (Overøye 26 km) or [Stranda Skisenter] 25 km + one ferry trip.
Excellent salmon and trout fishing in the area. You can buy your fishing licence from us. If you’d prefer to try your luck at fishing in the sea, you only have 9 km to travel to do this, at Valldal village.
We have an amicable arrangement with Jordbærstova on various forms of catering. Jordbærstova is a small, charming restaurant, which has ’heavenly delicious’ strawberry cakes as their speciality. Whether dining or just popping in here for a coffee break, you can be assured of food and drink of the highest quality. Groups are able to make breakfast bookings.
